600 years in our future...
The nuclear war that nearly destroyed the Mundus Senex—the Old World—melted the earth's ice and raised the water table 600 meters. What's left is now comprised of six territories: Silenda, Pexus, Ortus, Sanus, Formosus, and Captus.
Silenda
The government capital. Silentars have black hair, focus on morality and laws, and care deeply about fairness. Their territory's emblem is an octopus because they are resourceful, inquisitive, and have a strong will to survive.
Pexus
The education capital. Pexuns have grey hair, are proud, and deeply protect their sense of communal order.
Their territory's emblem is a rhinoceros because they are calm, stubborn, curious, and explosive.
Ortus
The technology capital. Ortusans have dark brown hair, are community-centered, and freely dote on and affirm those they love.
The territory's emblem is an elephant because they are intelligent, emotional, compassionate, and self-aware.
Sanus
The business capital. Sanusians have light brown hair, are tinkers, and will do anything to find a solution. Their territory's emblem is a wolf because they are caring, playful, and above all, devoted to family.
Formosus
The entertainment capital. Formosians have red hair, are the most beautiful humans throughout Elusis, and are looking to have a good time.
Their territory's emblem is a jaguar because they are graceful, strong, and highly aggresive.
Captus
The barbarian territory. Captusians have blonde hair, and are not spoken of throughout the rest of Elusis. No one goes there, and no one comes out.
Their territory's emblem is an orca because they are independent, playful, and brave... or so it's been said.
